It was just an idea! We begin this journey back in 2017 with the idea of finding our little spot on or close to the beach. Anywhere on the gulf would be nice, especially Panama City Beach. Our hopes were to find a nice lot, build and rent out till we could finally retire. Doing the building our selves would save tons on the cost but prevents renting the property for a year. The advantage of doing it ourselves out weighted the use of a contractor. Plenty of lots for sale but only a few that would allow for renting and they were more than we wanted to spend on a lot. Months went by hoping we would find that perfect lot, but then illness struck and our hopes were lost.
